From my
testing it looks as
though the main issues
relating to the comb.mkv
file are being caused by
avisynth (although I
have identified issues
in the demux stage which
can now be resolved and
the experimental filter
is still not 100%). I'm
confident that the new
error handling system
should be able to give
exact remedial action
that can fix most errors
rather than just what
the error was. i'm
trying to replicate
errors ppl are having
and it seems to be
picking most of these up
now with the correct
info on how to resolve
them so i'm confident
that the intermittant
bugs are close to being
resolved. I've found
that although a lot of
people are reporting
similar errors, these
are being caused by 5/6
different issues so I
think that's been a
source of confusion.

that would be happy to
test the final release
before release date,
just so I can get some
real environment
feedback, would anyone

basically just involve
deliberatly causing

I'm looking for anyone who has had errors with 3dbdbuster v3.5
that would be willing to beta test an update before general
release. If you are happy to do this, could you provide details
of the error you receive and what you were trying to do when
this error occurred (including settings used, if poss). I would
then ask that you update me after testing with the results.

3DBD Buster Guide
3DBD Buster is an
AVC/MVC encoded SSIF files convertor for use with 3D Blu-ray
discs and their component files. 3DBD Buster will allow you to
convert SSIF files to either MKV or TS format, preserving the
original audio tracks (MKV Only). You can specify and output
bitrate of between 1-40 Mbps as well as preserving, where
possible, the original AVC encoded left view. You can specify
individual file output, side by side output or above/below
output. You can also specify openKMQ output for support on iPad
etc. See openkmq.blogspot.com for more details. 3DBD Buster also
supports split-SSIF files (such as Coraline 3DBD).
Before Conversion
On loading 3DBD Buster for the first time, to ensure your PC has
all the required components installed correctly, please perform
a Compatibility Check. To do this, select Options > Check
Program Compatibility. If you receive a confirmation message
that all is well, please skip the rest of this step. Otherwise,
3DBD Buster will inform you of the missing components and direct
you to the authors website for download. 3DBD Buster requires
AVISynth 2.5, Shark007 codec and the MS x86 Redist Pack to run
properly.

Go to File > Open SSIF file ... and locate the SSIF files you
wish to convert. 3DBD Buster should then load the audio tracks
(if any) in to the box near the bottom of the program. If at
this stage you are informed there are no audio tracks but the
SSIF should have audio, please see 'No audio error' below.
From here you can specify an output location via File > Save
output as ... although this is not required. If you do not
specify, your output file can be found in the 3DBD Buster main
directory.
If you have a split SSIF movie, you can check the box 'Two part
SSIF file?' and specify the second SSIF file. 3DBD Buster will
then automatically join these files together during conversion.
From here, you can specify the output format and bitrate. You
then move on to the audio. If you selected a MKV format output,
you can either select a single audio track to be included in
output file by clicking it in the large box, otherwise you can
add all audio tracks to the MKV by clicking 'Include all
possible tracks'. You can also preview an audio track at this
stage by selecting the track number you wish to preview and
clicking 'Play selected audio track'. If TS output format is
selected then you can only specify a single audio track as
output.
Now all that's left is to convert! Simply click the 'Begin
Conversion' button to start the process. A few hours later you
will have your MKV/TS file ready for playback.
Misc.
Auto Update - 3DBD Buster has an auto update feature build in.
To check you have the latest version go to Options > Check for
updates. You will then receive a message informing you that you
either have the most up to date version already or the option to
download an update. The software will take care of the rest!
No audio error - 3D Blu-ray discs have a copy protection in
place and require decrypting before you can convert. There are
many ways to do this which I won't go in to here but I believe
the most common method is by using AnyDVD HD. Please use Google
for the rest!

perform conversions. These tools have not been
modified in any way. You could use these tools
yourself to manually convert files using the guides
that are available. You could download them all
individually but for your conveinience we have
packaged them all in to a single rar file.
3DBDBuster links all of these together allowing you
to automatically convert your files.
